Employment Relations Support
Compliance (Documentation):
A consultant will review existing employment contracts and employee management policies. We will also ensure we clarify which Modern Awards apply to which people and the relevant levels they may be classified at (eg. Professional Services / Clerks Private Sector.)
As a result of this review, we will rewrite everything that needs to be rewritten.
Advice (Phone & Email advice line):
As a Peninsula client you have unlimited access to advice 24/7.
There is no limit to the number of calls and no limit to the length of a call.
All advice is recorded and always back up in writing.
What could you use the advice line for?
- Employee handbook with as many polices as required
- Contracts (Casual, Part-Time, Full-Time, Salaried which are all different)

These documents will be tailored to your specific needs and in line with Fair Work and your award. We can also assist you with other documents relating to Employment Relations.
Over time, we will update, add to, and amend all documentation on an unlimited basis. This may come as a result of a change to legislation or Awards or may be as a result in a change to your business.

Legal Representation:
Should you find yourself facing a Fair Work claim, our Partner Law firm will run the cases on your behalf.
Hopefully the paper trail we have built up through our advice line allow the team to have the case close nice and quickly, but should it go further, they will also represent you in court.
Peninsula Protect Cover:
The associated cost of a Fair Work claim is covered, up to $2m per year and $400k per claim.
There is zero excess to engage and zero additional cost.
If you find yourself facing a claim, we will send all our system notes to Peninsula Protect to review and confirm next steps, i.e Settlement or Tribunal.
There’s no excess and no extra fee to engage representation. You’ll be guided on the next steps—whether that’s a settlement or a tribunal.
Workplace Health & Safety
Compliance:
A consultant will undertake a review of your sites to identify areas of risk and improvement relating to safety risk. As a result of this review, we will build you a fully compliant Workplace Health and Safety management system.
This includes (but not limited to):
- WHS Manual & Handbook with a huge range of policies
- Procedures form, etc
- Induction plans
- Incident structure
- SOP
- Mental Health & Psychosocial
- Equipment Policies
These documents will be updated and added to on an unlimited basis because of new legislation or changes in your operations.
Advice:
Unlimited advice 24/7.
All advice is recorded and backed up in writing. This will include both reactive and proactive advice. As an example, we can guide you on the correct steps to take when an incident occurs and provide all the documentation to support this.
We can also provide scripts and factsheets to ensure you are including WHS as an agenda item on team meetings and showing regular consultation around WHS.
Representation:
We partner with Sparke Helmore who will represent you should you find yourself facing a WHS investigation or prosecution.
Peninsula Protect Cover:
The legal fees associated with a WHS investigation or prosecution are covered by Peninsula Protect.
EAP – Employee Assistance Program:
The EAP service was introduced into our arsenal of service on the 1st of October 2024, we have included a link, below, to the brochure of what the service covers, but with so many changes in the mental health space for employees, this will be pivotal in supporting our employees even further, giving them access to professional counselling support to assist with any challenge they may be facing.
This allows a safe space to offer your team and furthers your due diligence as an organisation to Psychosocial hazards.
