Pink Ribbon Community Supports Australia support worker and NDIS participant talking by the beach

You’ve probably heard the saying Tickled Pink, right?

It means very pleased, delighted, or amused. It’s often used when someone feels genuinely happy about something.

It’s playful, maybe a bit cheeky, and full of heart… which honestly fits us pretty well.

We landed on Tickled Pink as a theme because it captures what we’re all about. Real support, good people, (actually, top notch people), meaningful connections… and moments where someone feels seen, heard, and uplifted.

That’s the stuff that keeps us going, and you know by now that it really is.

Our team works alongside NDIS and non-NDIS participants and families every day.

Whether it’s supporting someone to reach some kind of goal, (and there are many),  or to feel more confident at home, or to get out & about in the community, it’s those small, important wins that make us smile… sometimes even tear up a little… 🥲 no joke.

So we asked our team: “What Tickles You Pink” about working at Pink Ribbon?

Their answers? All heart. 💗

Because at the end of the day, this work isn’t just about checklists or job titles. It’s about people, purpose, and the kind of support that sticks.

And that’s something worth smiling about. 😊

Tash says…

“What Tickles Me Pink about Pink Ribbon is the way we genuinely put people first.

Every day, I get to see the difference individualised, compassionate support can make in someone’s life.

We’re not just providing support services, we’re empowering individuals, building confidence, and creating a real sense of belonging, making life a little brighter.

It’s a privilege to be part of a team that leads with heart.”

Robyn says…

“Working in a support role with Pink Ribbon Community Supports fills me with genuine joy and purpose every single day.

There’s something incredibly fulfilling about being part of an organisation that provides such vital care and advocacy for those in need, knowing that even the smallest acts of support can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.

What truly makes me Tickled Pink is witnessing the strength and resilience of the community we serve, while being surrounded by colleagues who share the same passion for compassionate care and unwavering support for those who need it most.”

Ria says…

“I’m absolutely Tickled Pink by the authentic compassion our team shows every single day.

Seeing the seamless collaboration between colleagues to deliver personalised, quality support that truly makes a difference in our community’s lives is what brings me the greatest joy.”

Karen says…

“The excitement and enjoyable feeling that one or more people endure when given an opportunity to live life to the fullest or being given a gift that not’s necessarily tangible, leaving a contentment that warms your heart.”

And…

Kat says…

“What makes me Tickled Pink about Pink Ribbon is the genuine care for each individual and the commitment to helping people make a difference enhancing their lives.

I love seeing the positive impact we have, no matter how small or large, it’s incredibly rewarding and satisfying for me to be part of.

I feel a strong sense of purpose knowing that the work we all do truly matters and makes a real difference in people’s lives, and helps create a more inclusive community.”
