What a year 2025 has been for Pink Ribbon Community Supports Australia.
We’ve grown, we’ve connected with our community in new ways, and we’ve kept doing what we do best… supporting people with disabilities across the Sunshine Coast and Gympie to live their best lives.
Here’s a look back at some of the highlights.
Sunshine Coast Disability & Seniors Expo
September brought us to the Sunshine Coast Disability & Seniors Expo, where we got to showcase our NDIS support services and connect face-to-face with our community (yes, we’re definitely embracing the fun side of support work!).
NDIS Support Expansion
This year, PRCSA became a registered NDIS provider for Supported Independent Living (SIL) in Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) properties.
What does that mean? More housing options and better support for individuals with disabilities who want to live independently with the right backing around them.
Community Engagement
We’re proud to have sponsored local sports teams this year, including the Gympie United FC winter and summer girls and women’s teams.
Supporting grassroots sports is just one way we’re fostering inclusivity and showing up for our community beyond our day-to-day support work.
Awareness and Advocacy
October saw us getting involved in National Carers Week, recognising the incredible unpaid carers who make such a difference in people’s lives.
Then in December, we participated in the International Day of People with Disability, promoting awareness and providing resources to support both caregivers and individuals with disabilities.
From all of us at Pink Ribbon, thank you for being part of our 2025 story. We’re already looking forward to what we’ll achieve together in 2026. Together, we can make a difference.
